Practical Training

My Vehicle
The car you will be using is a Peugeot 307 S HDi with the following features
- Progressive 2 Litre Diesel Engine
- Smooth manual gears
- Air-conditioning
- Power steering
- Dual Controls
- ABS Anti-lock brakes
- Six airbags
- Electric windows
- Electric mirrors
The Practical Test
You will take your test at a local Driving Test Centre, and it will be conducted by a Driving Skills Agency examiner.The test will last approximately forty minutes, during which time you will be asked to perform at least two of the following manoeuvres:
- Turn in the road.
- Left reverse.
- Parallel park.
- Bay park.
- Emergency Stop
In order to pass the practical test you must not commit more than fifteen driving faults or one serious/dangerous fault.
Once you have passed your driving test, you will be given a pass certificate. You must send this to the DVLA, along with a fee, to exchange your provisional licence for a first full licence.
Show Me / Tell Me.
You will be asked 2 questions on basic car maintenance, to answer one you will need to show the examiner what you need to do, for the other you will need to tell the examiner what to do. You will not fail your test for getting these wrong but you will get one driving fault recorded against you.
I will fully prepare you for this aspect of your test and will supply you with a full list of questions and answers in you Learner's Pack.
