My unique Learner's Pack will help guide you through the various stages of learner driving, including theory and hazard test training, through to driving test preparation and completion.
The Learner’s Record lists all of the key skills that are covered in the driving test. This record will help to remind you what you‘re trying to achieve, how to get there and how far you’ve got. The record is pocket-sized so you can carry it at every driving lesson.

The Theory Test is taken using a touch-screen computer at your local test centre. There are two sections to this test, the first consists of a series of multiple choice questions covering a wide range of driving related topics and the second covers Hazard Perception. In Hazard Perception you will be shown 15 video clips, each of which contains one or more a "developing hazard(s)" that you must respond to by clicking the mouse button as soon as you spot them.
To get your Theory Test Certificate you must achieve pass marks in both parts of the test on the same date. This certificate lasts for two years, after which, if you have not passed your Practical Test, you will have to re-sit the full Theory Test.
If you have a PC at home or have access to one, I will be able to lend you software* that will let you practice both sections of the Theory test.
For further information and on-line mock theory tests, visit the DSA web site: www.dsa.gov.uk or visit www.2pass.co.uk.
You can contact McGrath School of Motoring here or phone 07866 078963 for more information.
The practical test has two parts, an assessment of your driving abilities and a "show me / tell me" test of your knowledge of basic car maintenance. See my practical test page for further details.
